The islands are scattered throughout the Gulf, with a greater concentration in the Vannes and Noyalo rivers (37 islands), while the smaller Auray River has only 5 islands, apart from Île aux Moines and its neighbour Île d'Arz, the other islands are often private property, ranging in size from a few hundred square metres to several hectares. A guided boat trip is a must!

Malheureusement la plupart des 37 iles (je crois) sont privés nous avons visité l'île aux Moines et sa voisine l'île d'Arz , Cette dernière est beaucoup plus sauvage mais les 2 valent le détour , belle balade en bateau avec guide expérimenté

Je recommande l'ile d'Arz qui est moins visitée, mais un peu plus sauvage que sa voisine l'ile aux Moines. Idéale pour un séjour tranquille et balades en famille. Il y a quelques restos et une petite supérette.

A legend says that princesses cried and that their tears have been converted into islands, about 365 (for every day)... These islands are magnificent, some are unperceivable, others large.
The islands of arz island monks are very nice for cycling in summer.
I also recommend almost the island of rhuys if you like the sea and nature.
