FLORENCE LEMIEGRE - ATELIER JULES VERNE
Florence Lemiegre is a sculptor and ceramist based in Paris. She lives and works in the small village of Assigny in Haute-Normandie. A graduate of the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne with a Master's degree in Plastic Arts and Art Sciences, she also holds a diploma in industrial design from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Florence Lemiegre has been exploring clay for thirty years and is particularly passionate about the Raku technique. She attended classes at Olivier Oet's workshop in Paris and Soisy from 1995 to 2017. In 2017, she decided to specialize in earthenware and studied sculpture-modeling at Ateliers Terre et Feu in Paris. Her ceramic sculptures in stoneware and earthenware are all unique works, created in her studio in Assigny. Her artistic work explores balance and imbalance, as well as emotions and emotional vibrations. Florence Lemiegre's creations are inspired by nature and biodiversity, inviting viewers to reflect on our relationship with the environment.
