Jean-Claude Roullet, twenty-eight-time French canoeing champion, offers a variety of routes and hikes to discover Brantôme and the surrounding area. By canoe or kayak, the enchanting Dronne, known as the Green Venice of Périgord, deserves its name. You can go for 1 hour or up to a full day, depending on your mood. A reception point is set up under the caves, but the base, on the outskirts of the village, is halfway along the Fontaine d'Amour-Bourdeilles trail. Free parking and a picnic area are available.
