Mélodie, a florist specialising in timeless flowers, organises a beautiful Christmas market every year around her workshop just a stone's throw from the Val d'Auron in Bourges. The Santa Claus Caves present many artists and craftsmen of taste and beautiful things. This year, 25 exhibitors from various horizons were present: ceramists from La Borne, cutlery and blacksmith, leather goods designer, felted wool clothing designer, woven pearl jewellery designer, hatmaker, Christmas decoration designer, Champagne winemaker, chocolate maker, foie gras producer, hibiscus syrups and jellies producer, chocolate-coated walnut specialities... The place is authentic, the caves are real caves. The onlookers walk on accordion-like airs between the small chalets and the various outbuildings of this old barn. Not to be missed, the house of Santa Claus beautifully fairy-tale and the tales of Mother Christmas that make the children happy. On site, tasting of hot chestnuts, pancakes, mulled wine, served by Pascal Giraud from the Auberge des Maisons Rouges in Saint-Eloy-de-Gy. See you next year!
