WATER TOWER - CASTLE OF ART
This is not a water castle as it is used to seeing on the outskirts of the cities but rather in a beautiful old monument. Inaugurated in 1867 and entered in 1975 at the additional inventory of Historical Monuments, the Château d'Eau was completely refurbished by the City of Bourges in 1999: It is now a place dedicated to the spread of plastic arts. Its ground floor of 220 m 2 welcomes works, whether painted, carved, engraved, decorated, woven, programmed or hammered. This privileged place of discovery and exchange welcomes from April to November exhibitions carefully selected by the eight members of the programming committee, all cultural actors in the city of Bourges.
