ARTISANS DU MONDE
The shop moved rue d'Auron for the greatest pleasure of the volunteers who join the association and for ours! Artisans of the World sell handicrafts from Asia, South America or Africa: jewelry, bags, clothes, decoration… Here, careful care is being taken to market only fair items: producers work in co-operatives and are paid at a fair price, without intermediaries. They are also chosen for their aesthetic qualities and originality. In the food radius there are coffees, teas and fair chocolates. The "fair" concept also applies to local producers interested in marketing honey and jams. The Association Artisans du Monde de Bourges (which will celebrate its twenty years in 2016) is also a place of deposit for the vegetable baskets of Fussy organic vegetable Garden. The shop is (well) maintained by a team of volunteers motivated by the same motivation: to compensate producers at a level that enables them to live their work in dignity. The euro you will spend in this shop will be directly involved in improving the living standards of Northern and southern communities.
