DOMAINE DES GRANDS ORMES
This small area of seven hectares is in full renaissance. It is by far: all its vines were grubbed up in 1870, shortly after the outbreak of the phylloxera epidemic which ravaged European vineyards in the th century. It was only in 1991 that the domaine des Grands Elms was replanted by Christophe Gallon, on half a hectare to begin. Today, of the 7 hectares of sandy soil in the property, Sauvignon reigns without sharing. From here, Christophe Bin produces voluntarily young wines, fresh, with grapefruit and flowers aromas, perfect for accompanying some goat cheeses. To follow closely.
