Maison and table d'hôtes featuring local produce, enhanced by sculptures and works of art.

Nestled in an enchanting setting, this superb house, once owned by an artist, is a treasure trove of works and sculptures scattered here and there. The owners offer a table d'hôte (reservation required) featuring local produce: cheeses from the Chênaie farm, oils from Mérolles, wines from Reuilly, Quincy, Menetou-Salon, Sancerre and local honeys. A few steps away, a second house hosts a tea room open on weekend evenings, ideal for relaxing and discovering Noëlla's creations and decorative objects.

La Chapelle

Measuring 35 m², the room opens onto a private garden, with a view of Foëcy's 19th-century church. The old beams and travertine floor are bathed in natural light. La Chapelle features a 180x200 bed. Tones of sand, off-white and rust celebrate well-being and relaxation. A sitting area is set out in front of a bay window overlooking the courtyard and terrace. To break with the solemnity of the chapel, the 160x90 shower, with separate WC, is dressed in an industrial-inspired vanity. This atypical room is ideal for a romantic getaway on Valentine's Day, for example, or a time of recollection, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The African continent has long fed Noëlla's imagination. Her brother lived there for some twenty years. She went there several times on ecovolunteering trips. This is how her taste for African art and Wax fabrics was born. One day, while strolling through Nantes, she was seduced by a naive painting of an African woman's bust: Yacoute. In this 18 m² bedroom, the cushions invite the senses to travel. It features a 160x200 bed. Powder pink and duck blue tones and a light oak floor delicately suggest the warmth of African landscapes, where telluric songs are heard. Opening onto the bedroom, the shower room features a 140x90 shower and separate toilet. It features black earthenware and black washbasins set into a wooden cabinet.

La Louise

Louise, Noëlla's mother, ran a bed and breakfast in Saint-Malo. She recalls that skippers in the Route du Rhum stayed with her parents before setting sail. La Louise is also the name of a wooden schooner that sails the Greenland seas and returns to the port of Lorient every winter. This room is Noëlla's nod to her teenage years in Brittany, her kayaking trips to Spitzbergen and her sailing trips to Antarctica. La Louise is a 25 m² room with a 180x200 bed (twin beds possible). It is decorated in shades of grey-green, like the sea awaiting the storm. The 5 m² bathroom is decorated in forest-green tones. The small basins are reminiscent of sailboat basins. A sitting area invites guests to take a still journey and contemplate..

The Centre-Val de Loire region is home to vast natural spaces. It is also a setting that awakens the senses, with its authentic flavors, artists and craftsmen, mysterious lands and legends that have stood the test of time. Set up in the attic, it offers a space dedicated to parents with its 180x200 bed and a space for the 3rd person with its 80x190 bed. A cot can be added for children under 3. Une Escale en Berry is a guest house located in a former priory in the heart of Foëcy. Here, Noëlla Chopier offers a warm welcome in pleasant surroundings, carefully decorated with refurbished antique furniture. Each of the comfortable, elegant rooms evokes a distinct atmosphere, from adventure by the sea to romance and exoticism. Each room is also equipped with a Wi-Fi connection and a shower room. What's more, the establishment offers a tasty breakfast featuring artisanal products. Its table d'hôtes invites you to discover a family cuisine that generously celebrates the authentic flavors of the Berrichon terroir. Likewise, La Belle Époque tearoom offers an assortment of homemade cakes every Friday from 5.30pm to 9pm, as well as on weekends and public holidays. Bruno also offers an assortment of teas, coffee and homemade ice creams. On sunny days, you can enjoy an aperitif in the pleasant garden. To enhance your stay, the house organizes a variety of fun activities. For example, you can take an electric bike ride in the surrounding area to discover the secrets of the region.
