DOMAINE GILBERT
Over five generations, Domaine Philippe Gilbert has built up a fine reputation. The 28-hectare estate has been biodynamically farmed since 2006. As the winemaker explains, this involves "enhancing the value of the soil and the plant using preparations derived from plant, animal or mineral matter, taking into account the rhythms of the stars". The family-run estate, located in the heart of the Menetou-Salon AOC, produces two cuvées: the Domaine cuvée, distinguished by its fresh, well-balanced wines, which you'll find in all three colors, and the Les Renardières cuvée, vinified and aged in barrels with grapes from the estate's oldest vines, offering complex, powerful white and red wines.
