DOMAINE DE COQUIN
Here stood the Château de Coquin, a medieval building that has now disappeared. In Old French a "coquine" land means a land that is difficult to work. It is also said that it was the lord of the place who was naughty... The former estate of this château is now planted with a 13 ha vineyard of sauvignon and pinot noir, which has seen many generations of winegrowers come and go. A work of the reasoned vine and a traditional wine making give birth to whites with notes of flowers and citrus fruits, very fruity reds and very few rosés, resulting from a clayey-limestone soil. Numerous distinctions reward this ancestral know-how.
