DOMAINE DES BERRYCURIENS
A place of history, because it was on the territory of Marmagne that in 1234 Robert de Courtenay founded Notre-Dame-de-Beauvoir, an abbey of nuns. The King of France Saint-Louis liked to visit Beauvoir, which obliged the monastery to receive dignified and good wines. It is in place of Villalin that the Cistercian tree planted a small vineyard. Eight centuries later, the Villalin still remains, dedicated to the cult of Sauvignon. The domain consists of two wines in AOC, Quincy and Reuilly. For the first, the vines are planted at the place Dit. Manual harvest, grape selection, local wealth, limited yields, produce wines with very sought-after characteristics. For the second (Rouge red and Rosé rosé), the vines are located in the Dit. To discover: Quincy Loge of vines. This specific wine is decorated with a label made by a young artist who represents "the barriau", i. e. a small barrier in front of a restored vineyard box.
