Establishment in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle serving a home-made Perigord menu with an excellent quality-price ratio.

The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the river and Castelnaud castle. Claudine is in charge of reception and service, Dominique in the kitchen. The chef has nothing to hide as he works in front of the customer. Everything is homemade. The Périgord menu is available with or without dessert, and offers excellent value for money. For starters, the homemade foie gras terrine or the porcini omelette are great appetizers. The tapas menu and à la carte menu feature Basque specialties. You can come with family or friends, and the atmosphere is very festive.

Service beaucoup trop long deux heures pour manger une entrée froide et un plat. Aussi mauvaise cuisson de la viande aiguillettes de canard (trop cuite). Le magret n'était pas assez confis et un peu sec. Le foie gras était très bon.
