Not far from Sancerre, these two friendly winegrowers Roger and Didier Raimbault have a wealth of ancestral know-how, passed down through several generations. They have skilfully learned the best lessons from it, while bringing it up to date in a very traditional spirit. Verdigny is renowned in the Sancerrois region for its terroir-driven wines, and the Domaine Raimbault wines contribute to maintaining this image of quality. White, red and rosé wines are produced on 18 hectares of clay-limestone (terres blanches) and limestone (caillottes) soils. Not to be missed: a red Sancerre cuvée "Vieilles Vignes" 2012 aged in oak barrels, offering a powerful wine, a white Sancerre 2013, a lively, fresh and fruity wine. The estate's wines are often awarded medals.
