Jean-Pierre Dubois, director of archaeological excavations at Auneau castle. This house is next to a pond, not far from the swimming pool. Passionnés of archaeology reconstituted a house such as the Neolithic men could have built it themselves. From April to October there are animations that immerse you in the Neolithic life and introduce you to the cutting of silex. Located on a marsh, the house also offers guided tours: walking in this fertile nature, you can discover the medicinal plants and their uses. You can thus understand the life of the men of 6 500 years ago, in symbiosis with the biotope of the marsh, fauna and flora that reside here.

What a pleasure to diving in the life of our ancestors through this reconstruction of a Neolithic identical to that found during excavations in the heart of the forest of Auneau. The enthusiasm of the guide (specialist archaeology) allows you to light up the practices life of the men of prehistory. The production of fire notammentt is very fun. The visit will only have more interest facing a curious public. Indeed, the guides are volunteers who do not have roadmaps standard to entertain the visit is made with seasonal ask questions. Instructive and fun, a discovery that will delight the large and little ones!
