When to go en Auvergne ?

The climate in Auvergne, due to the large size of the region, is divided into two sub-climates. In the southwest (in the Cantal), an oceanic climate dominates, very humid and relatively mild. The departments of Allier, Puy-de-Dôme and Haute-Loire tend more towards a more extreme continental climate (lots of snow in winter, very hot summer).
