When to go au Pays Basque ?
Bathed by the Bay of Biscay, the Basque Country benefits from innumerable microclimates under the oceanic influence. The oceanic facade is mainly watered in winter and dry in summer. Temperatures vary between 5 and 22°C, with peaks of up to 38°C in July and August and minimums just below 0°C. The mountain area is close to a subalpine climate with winter snow. Temperatures can be negative in winter and rise to 25°C and even higher in summer.
