Breakfast is often included in the price and usually consists of a continental buffet. For Italians, breakfast is the least important meal of the day. This is sometimes the case in hotels, which offer a fairly simple buffet with industrial croissants, bread and jam in individual portions. Fortunately, there are also many places that cater for the first meal of the day, with home-made cakes and home-made products.
