Without doubt the most original address in Sosúa. Set right on the beach, in the shade of lush vegetation, Mosha's Reggae Lounge offers nothing less than a trip to Jamaica. It's all there: a relaxed atmosphere, good reggae, Kingston-style decor, a warm welcome and, above all, excellent authentic Jamaican cuisine, lovingly prepared and carefully presented. Vegetarian plates, jerk chicken (spicy chicken grilled over a wood fire), curries, fish in sauce, topped off with smoothies and other tropical juices. One love!

Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, this restaurant offers a magnificent view of Playa Alicia, the sea and the mountains, and is very quiet yet close to the town center. The varied menu will appeal to Philly Cheese Steack sandwich lovers and lobster gourmets alike. Some good desserts too. Tex-mex, pizzas, grills, Dominican and international specialties make up the menu of this adorable straw hut, protected from passers-by and with friendly service. It's a pleasure to sit down at one of the tables on Captain Bailee's large terrace and enjoy a solid breakfast or a cool drink before moving on to the main courses. From Monday to Saturday, a tasty self-service Dominican buffet is served at lunchtime. A sure bet!

Charming bar-restaurant on the terrace (in the boutique-hotel of the same name), around a swimming pool, lounge atmosphere and a little away from the city centre and its bustle. The Mediterranean-inspired kitchen is open and you can watch the chef prepare your dish: fresh pasta, fish and especially seafood. Everything is fresh! We recommend the tuna trio and the pineapple/crème brûlée ravioli for dessert, a real treat. French-speaking welcome. From January to March, a foreign chef is invited to cook more elaborate meals.

At the heart of the luxurious Ocean Club real estate complex, the Baia Lounge welcomes you between the pool and the sea, with breathtaking views. Mediterranean specialties include fish in all its forms: carpaccio, ceviche, sushi... We particularly recommend the octopus carpaccio with mango conch. A real delight. Lunch is available by the pool, or even on the beach. A beautiful address, more reminiscent of Saint-Tropez or Capri than Sosúa. A moment of luxury guaranteed, and undeniably professional, attentive service.

Located at the western end of the beach, you can walk past it several times without noticing it. And what a shame! It is one of the only restaurants on the beach without touts. Since it is located on the Dominican side, it welcomes mainly Dominican families who come to share fish and seafood. The restaurant has no sign: it is a white building, with a large kitchen open to the beach, and a few tables outside. Here, fish is king, grilled or fried, in Mofongo with octopus or shrimps, or in paella.

This is one of the best trattorias in the region. First of all, the setting is pleasant, with a small shaded patio away from the tourist crowds. Here, fish takes pride of place, as do Tuscan specialties: pasta, delicious pizzas, juicy cuts of meat served with French fries or vegetables... We recommend the fish of the day (roasted) and the linguini with lobster. A real treat with generous portions! All this in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with attentive service. Some evenings, the meal is accompanied by live music.
