Read moreThe Kaisergebirge ("Emperor Mountains") consists of two mountain ranges, the Zahmer Kaiser and the Wilder Kaiser, separated by the Kaisertal valley. With its many marked trails and mountain huts, it's a paradise for nature lovers. Alpine meadows and forests alternate in a patchwork of green, dominated by the rocky peaks of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. The first three stages of the "Eagle Route" pass through the reserve.
