The forthcoming opening of the H'ART Museum in Amsterdam will be marked by the launch of a major intercultural collaboration with the Centre Pompidou. The first exhibition features Russian-born artist Vassily Kandinsky, with over 60 masterpieces on loan from the Paris museum. The event is an opportunity to retrace the career and offer a fresh perspective on the career of this genius of abstract art. Four other exhibitions, dedicated to Brancusi, Matisse, Léger and Surrealism, will be held at the H'ART Museum over the next 5 years. They are also the fruit of collaboration between the museum formerly known as the Hermitage Amsterdam and the Centre Pompidou, which will be closed for renovation between 2025 and 2030.
