How to get there - Édimbourg - Edinburgh

Edinburgh

Scot Monument, Edimbourg.

Steps: Édimbourg - Edinburgh

Start with a guided tour of EdinburghNational Museum of Scotland to learn more about the country's history. Don't forget to stop by Greyfriars Kirk and the Grassmarket, which are just a short walk away.

Edinburgh

Buchanan street, Glasgow.

Steps: Édimbourg - Edinburgh

Be at the castle when it opens and spend the whole morning there. Then cross the North Bridge to walk through New Town and see the real contrast between the two parts of Edinburgh. Art lovers will want to visit the Scottish National Gallery, but if you're interested in shopping, don't miss the manyshops in the area. Finish up at the top of Calton Hill for great views.

Glasgow

Rannoch Moor.

Steps: Glasgow

Drive or take the train to explore vibrant Glasgow. Depending on your interests, visit the cathedral, the Necropolis, the Kelvingrove Museum or the university with its museums.

Day 4

Glen Coe

Direction Glen Coe, the most beautiful valley in Scotland. It is crossed by a splendid road where you will have any leisure to linger before arriving at the banks of Loch Linnhe. Take some time to admire Rannoch Moor or the first few miles of Glen Etive.

Fort William

Steps: Fort William

Continue your stay in Fort William, a little further north. The area is absolutely majestic. Weather permitting and if you want, you can set off early in the morning to conquer Ben Nevis, the country's highest peak. Alternatively, take a stroll through Glen Nevis and drive to Glenfinnan, home of the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Aviemore

Queen's view, Loch Tummel.

Steps: Aviemore

Head east to the Cairngorms National Park. Aviemore is a perfect base for exploring the area. Do some afternoon walking or head to the Speyside distilleries, if you prefer water of life to walking.
