How to get there

Arrive in Sydney and begin exploring the city. You'll start at theOpera House and admire the harbour before heading to The Rocks for a stroll through its streets. You can visit the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA). In the afternoon, climb the steps to the Harbour Bridge. Crossing the bridge will take between 30 and 40 minutes. Then head to Darling Harbour to enjoy its many points of interest and attractions.

On your second day, stroll through Hyde Park, then lose yourself in Chinatown. In the afternoon, don't miss a stroll through Paddington, its streets lined with pretty Victorian houses and boutiques perfect for shopping.

Fly from Sydney to Melbourne. On arrival, head to St Kilda to enjoy the seaside and relax in the sun. In the evening, you can sit quietly on the terrace of one of its many bars or restaurants.

Day 4

Shopping day in Melbourne

For this new day, take a stroll through the Fitzroy district and browse the thrift shops and vintage boutiques. Or discover South Melbourne, one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. Enjoy the South Melbourne Market and its international stalls. Stroll the streets before heading to Albert Park for a picnic. Then it's on to Bourke Street Mall for some more conventional shopping. In the late afternoon, head to Docklands and enjoy the many attractions on offer.

Discover the Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is reputed to be one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Discover Lorne, Aireys Inlet, Apollo Bay and arrive in the evening at the Twelve Apostles to avoid the crowds. Port Campbell is a good place to spend the night.
