Massif des Karawanken

By continuing its road to the east, we enter the Massif massif, a 120 km long mountain chain with Austria's border. More wild and less tourist than its famous neighbour Le Triglav, the massif has many treasures such as the majestic valley of Logar, the high plateau of Velika Planina, and the clear waters the Savinja, or so many playground for the athletes! After a busy day, you will find shelter in one of the many scattered tourist farms in the territory.
Massif du Pohorje
Steps: Maribor
On the outskirts of Maribor, the second city of Slovenia, the landscape is softer and greener, and the soothing reliefs of the Pohorje massif are traversed by forest roads that will be entirely suitable for casual walkers. When the snow is part of the game, Maribor turns into a true capital of sliding, often organizing World Cup events.
Karst and Postojna Cave
Steps: Postojna
By taking the south-west road, Mediterranean influences are felt in Karst. The region is famous for the number of caves and underground caves it contains, the best known of which are those of Postojna and Škojcan. The particularity of the basement has created a natural curiosity: the seasonal lake of Cerknica, which appears and disappears according to rainfall.
