How to get there - Perth

First day of discovery around Perth

Head north on the Brand Highway. On the way, stop off at the Pinnacles, astonishing mineral formations. In Geraldton, a visit to the Western Australian Museum is well worthwhile for its fine exhibitions on Aboriginal people. Geraldton is a former mining town and lobster fishing center.

Shark Bay area. Turn off the main road and head for Monkey Mia to see dolphins, then enter François Peron National Park, superb for its pristine beaches, cliffs and salt lakes.

Ningaloo Reef and Coral Coast, one of the most beautiful places in Western Australia, with a coral reef and a superb coastline dotted with natural wonders such as gorges, beaches, reefs and headlands.
