How to get there - Ilulissat
Discover the town of Ilulissat
Steps: Ilulissat
After breakfast, transfer to Reykjavik domestic airport. Flight toIlulissat. Guided tour of the "capital of icebergs", possibly in the company of a local guide, to discover the old town, the old Danish colonial houses, the harbour and the Sion church, built in 1779. Why not take the opportunity to visit the home of the great explorer and ethnologist Knud Rasmussen (1879-1933). In the late afternoon, try to join a kaffemik to meet Greenlanders over a cup of coffee and a cake or Greenlandic specialty. In summer, the ideal way to end the day is with a midnight cruise among the icebergs.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day with optional activities, depending on budget and weather: helicopter flight over theInlandsis (breathtaking), kayaking among the icebergs at the risk of being disturbed by whale blowing (also possible in the evening during summer), dog sledding in winter or simply a hike along the edge of the fjord to watch the majestic scroll of the icebergs... For a taste of Greenlandic gastronomy, try the incredible Greenlandic Buffet at the Arctic Hotel: an assortment of different specialties depending on what's available (bear, whale, seal, halibut, cod, shellfish, scallops...). The barbecue on the terrace is also well worth a visit, renowned for its grilled musk ox and reindeer.

Excursion to Port Victor
Steps: L'Ile De Disko
Depart by boat to the superb Eqi Glacier, from where several expeditions by French explorer Paul-Émile Victor set out. The trip allows you to observe whales and discover the surrounding area of Disko Bay. Here, you can hike and sleep in huts set in breathtaking scenery. Return to Ilulissat the next day.
