Muscat
Steps: Bandar Kheiran
Go to Bandar Al Rowdha marina, and embark for a morning at sea in the vicinity of the capital (dolphin watching cruise, walk along the coast and swimming stop in the creeks of Bandar Kheiran). After the boat trip, take the car and continue south to Sifah by an impressive road between sea and mountains, offering superb views of the coastline. Lunch on the beach (picnic or restaurant in the marina such as The Bank Beach Club) and afternoon relaxation. Overnight at the Sifawy Boutique Hotel.
Ras al-Jinz Reserve
Steps: Shab
Hearty breakfast before taking the road 17 towards Quriyat. Hike in Wadi Shab with a swim to a hidden water cave at the bottom of the wadi. Picnic with your feet in the water. Excursion to Wadi Tiwi (if there is time) and then drive along the coastline to Ras al-Jinz Reserve for an evening of turtle watching: night trip with a guide to watch the turtles lay their eggs and overnight stay at Ras al-Jinz Turtle Reserve, Turtle Beach Resort or Sama Ras al-Jinz
