Stay : The essentials of Botswana
We will spend four days in this region of theOkavango, but a week to relax. Fishermen will be able to spend most of their stay here. This route is accessible by car, taking the A3 and A35 paved road along the Panhandle on the Namibian border, known as the Caprivi Strip. You can reach Kasane if you have more than four days.

Day 1: Camp by the river

Departure from Maun or Gantsi. First night in a riverside camp or in one of the community villages around Maun
Day 2: Discovering the avifauna
Boat trip and discovery of the birdlife. The boat is the best way to discover the landscapes of this region and to observe the birds which are numerous there.
Day 3: Heading for Seronga
Steps: Seronga
Excursion to Seronga. Go to see this village facing the river, meet its inhabitants and sleep in a camp. Or on the Okavango in a hotel boat. The mokoro ride is a must.

Cruise on the Okavango in a hotel boat. The mokoro ride is a must.
Day 5: Rock Treasures deTsodilo Hills
Excursion to the Tsodilo Hills. Discover the paintings and cave engravings in this site for walking. It is advisable to spend a night in camping.
Day 6: Across the border across the border
Steps: Kasane - Kazungula
Border crossing to visit the Namibian small reserves and traditional villages nearby. Return from the side of Kasane and its airport.
