Day 1: Making contact with Mexico

Fly to Mexico City D.F. Visit the Museum of Anthropology, considered one of the world's finest museums, and Chapultepec Castle.

Day 2: Mexico City's major monuments
Visit the Zócalo, the Government Palace with its historic frescoes by Diego Rivera, the Cathedral and Templo Mayor, and especially its museum. City tour.
Day 3: The remains of Teotihuacán
Steps: Teotihuacán
Visit the site of Teotihuacán, where you'll appreciate the imposing Pyramids of the Moon and Sun.
Day 4: In Trotsky's footsteps
Steps: México
Visit Coyoacán, and/or San Angel (if it's a Saturday) and Xochimilco Gardens (especially on Sundays).

Day 13: In the shoes of an archaeologist
Visit the Puuc route, criss-crossed by numerous archaeological sites including Uxmal and Kabah.
Day 14: Colonial atmosphere
Steps: Izamal, Valladolid
Visit to the beautiful town of Izamal, with its orange walls. Stopover in Valladolid.
Day 15: The pearl of Mexico
Steps: Chichén Itzá
Visit the majestic archaeological site of Chichén Itzá.
Day 16: "Descanso and beach!
Steps: Playa Del Carmen
Playa del Carmen, a small, relaxed coastal town where you can go scuba diving, for example. Beach, lounging and shopping on La Quinta (5th Avenue).
Day 17: In the shoes of a Caribbean pirate
Steps: Tulum
Visit the superb site of Tulum overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Accommodation in cabañas on the coast.
Day 18: Farniente and tranquil diving
Visit and snorkel at Xel-Hà or Xcaret (Riviera Maya).
Day 19: By the sea

In Cancún, enjoy the beach and its shades of blue, the perfect place to relax.
Day 20: On Women's Island
