Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek
Steps: Windhoek
Arrival formalities in Windhoek, car rental, final reservations and purchase of equipment if necessary.
Day 2: Kalahari Desert, refuge of the Oryx Gazelle and the Meerkat
Departure in the morning to the Kalahari, arrival in the early afternoon. Walk or drive to discover the beauty of the red dunes. Animals circulate freely, you can observe herds of antelopes (springboks, oryx), or wildebeests, as well as a crowd of meerkats, a species close to mongooses, typical of the Namibian deserts.
Day 3: Road to Fish River Canyon
Steps: Keetmanshoop, Fish River Canyon
Continue south with a stop at Quivertree Forest and Giant's Playground, not far from Keetmanshoop and arrive at Fish River Canyon at the end of the day.
Day 4: Visit Fish River Canyon

Visit the largest African canyon and the second largest canyon in the world since Hobas.

Direction Lüderitz to spend a day there: on the program, boat trip, discovery of Diaz Point and the ghost town of Kolmanskop.

Day 7: On the road to the Namib desert

Day 8: Sossusvlei red dunes

Rise at dawn for the ascent of red dunes in Sossusvlei, photo stop at Dead Vlei and visit the canyon of Sesriem.

Day 9: The Atlantic coast, towards Walwis Bay

On the way to the coast and Swakopmund or Walvis Bay. Afternoon shopping and relaxation in the city of Swakopmund, dinner at the restaurant and sunset on the sea.
Day 10: Swakopmund or Walvis Bay, seaside resort

Plan your activities according to your interests: visit Sandwich Harbour, where the dunes flow into the ocean, sandboarding, quad biking, paragliding, 4x4 in the dunes, visit the city centre, the offer is vast. Book a time for shopping and, in the evening, sit down at one of the many restaurants, a rare opportunity in Namibia.
Day 11: Swakopmund or Walvis Bay, discovery of marine fauna
Steps: Walvis Bay
Pelicans, sea lions and dolphins are numerous in the region. A boat trip from Walvis Bay will allow you to observe them up close.
Day 12: Visit to the Cape Cross Reserve

120 kilometres from Swakopmund, thousands of fur seals live in the Cape Cross Reserve. Smelly, impressive and funny.
Day 13: Damaraland, an essential stopover

Head for Damaraland with a stop at Cape Cross on the way. Visit at the end of the day to the White Lady rock site at the foot of Brandberg Mountain.
Day 14: Visit of the archaeological site of Twyfelfontein
Steps: Twyfelfontein
Direction Twyfelfontein and visit of the archaeological site and the various geological formations in the vicinity.
Day 15: Safari in the Damaraland: see the elephants in the desert
Day in the Damaraland to hunt the rhinos or elephants of the desert (registration with its lodge or camping).
Day 16: Direction, capital of Kaokoland
Steps: Opuwo
Road day by taking the C 35 asphalt road to arrive near Opuwo. Night in accommodation on the road.
Day 17: At the meeting of the Himba people
Steps: Opuwo
The road to Opuwo is taken with a visit to a Himba village (organized by the Nacobta).
Day 18: Epupa Falls, the "little Victoria Falls"

Heading for Epupa Falls, the last few kilometres are more difficult, but you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape and its wilderness.
Day 19: Epupa Falls, discovery and activities on the Kunene River

The Epupa falls on the Kunene River mark the border with Angola. A whole host of activities are possible in the region: rafting, canoeing, crocodile watching, we won't get bored.
Day 20: En route to Etosha
Resumption of the road with a stop between Ruacana and Oshakati for the night.
Day 21: Etosha National Park, wildlife sanctuary

Direction Etosha by arriving by the less frequented entrance, the northern entrance, or road to the village of Namutoni.
Day 22: Safari in Etosha National Park
Two full days, from sunrise to sunset, in the park, looking for the big four (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards), alone or with a guide.
Day 23: Etosha National Park Safari
The visit of the Park continues!
Day 24: Directorate Rundu, border town with Angola
Steps: Rundu
Direction, accommodation on the river side.
Day 25: Caprivi band in Zambezi, near the Zambezi River
Steps: Bwabwata National Park, Mudumu National Park
Arrival in the Zambezi region and stop in Mudumu, first crossing Bwabwata Park and overnight in the vicinity of Mudumu.
Day 26: Zambezi National Park and the spectacular Victoria Falls
Steps: Windhoek
Full day in the national park, preferably organized by an agency because the roads are very bad. From there, it is possible to extend the stay to Victoria Falls or return to Windhoek to complete the tour of the country in 30 days.
Day 27: Mahango Nature Reserve

Return by the B8 to Mahango. Boat trip along the river, fishing or visit to the park.
Day 28: Grootfontein, stopover before the Waterberg Park
Steps: Waterberg Plateau Park, Grootfontein
Overnight in Grootfontein before heading to the Waterberg Park the next day.
Day 29: Waterberg National Park
Steps: Grootfontein, Waterberg Plateau Park
Before making the last stop, visit the Hoba meteorite, then head for Waterberg National Park. On a plateau 50 km long and 16 km wide, 150 m above the plain, in addition to the still fascinating landscapes, you will be able to observe with a little luck many rare species (black hippotragues or black antelope, Roman antelopes, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs...). Hiking or game drive in the park.
