Day 1: Arrival in Seattle

You arrive in Seattle late in the day. Check into a downtown hotel and, if you're not too tired, go out for dinner to get a feel for the city.
Day 2: The must-visits of Seattle

Start your stay by visiting Downtown and the underground in the Seattle Art Museum. Lunch on the seafront, in Pike Place Market, then visit the . Other attractions are available on the seafront. Spend the evening in downtown in one of the city's excellent restaurants.
Day 3: Olympic Peninsula, Port Townsend and Sequim
Steps: Port Angeles, Seattle, Sequim, Port Townsend, Bainbridge Island
Take the ferry from Seattle to Port Townsend to join the Olympic peninsula. Once on the spot, do not hesitate to explore the beautiful historic centre of Port Townsend boasting Victorian houses. In the afternoon, go to Sequim to visit a lavender farm, then to Port Angeles in the evening.
Day 4: Olympic Peninsula, in the heart of the forest

Day 5: Heading on Long Beach, seaside peninsula

Go to the south-west tip of the state by following the coast, in order to reach the Long Beach peninsula. As a seaside destination par excellence, it reserves several attractions including the Long Beach.

Day 6: Mount St Helens, on the shores of the Columbia River
Departure to Mount St Helens Volcano, following the road along the shore of the Columbia River. Full visit of the site. Night in Longview.
Day 7: Tacoma, the city of glass
Steps: Tacoma
In the morning, travel from Animorphic to Eatonville to visit the Trek Wildlife Park. You will join Tacoma for lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to the visit of the Museum of Glass and to the discovery of the small town centre. Night in Tacoma.

Day 8: Mount Rainier, the lord of Washington

Leave Tacoma to go to the mythical Mount Rainier and enjoy its numerous hikes walks. In the winter, a snowshoe ride is ideal. Sleep at the foot of Mount Rainier, in lodge or a camping tent.
Day 9: Hiking in Mount Rainier
A second day is devoted to discover this beautiful mountain following one of its many trails.
Day 10: Yakima, land of vineyards

Continue to the east to explore Yakima and its vineyards. You can make a guided tour and enjoy some good wines, or simply enjoy the countryside and its pleasant climate.
Day 11: Leavenworth and Bavarian culture

Change the mood dramatically by joining Leavenworth and its Bavarian atmosphere. Learn how this small town became the beer capital of Washington State and enjoy an overnight stay in a cozy B&B.
Day 12: Winthrop, the entrance to the Far West

Leave Leavenworth in the morning and reach Winthrop (2 hours' drive) to the north to discover a true Far West atmosphere. Lunch in a saloon and do some typical shopping.
Day 13: National Park North Cascades

Departing from Winthrop, you can reach . There are several hiking trails in park, which you can choose according your level. The whole day can be spent picnicking on the spot. Night in lodge or in a camping pitch.
Day 14: San Juan Island

You will then need a half-day to reach Anacortes towards the west and take the ferry for San Juan Island. The walk offers a beautiful panorama between the islands and the coast of Washington State. You will arrive in time for dinner at one of the Friday Harbor's restaurants.
Day 15: Whale watching around San Juan Island

San Juan Island offers a great number of activities to spend a good time. Whale watching and killer whales are the most popular. We go on board a small boat and we leave for the the in search of large mammals. The charming village of Friday Harbor also offers a pleasant shopping walk.

Day 16: Discovery by bicycle or windsurfing of San Juan Island

From San Juan, you can easily travel by ferry to Orcas Island. The island is more authentic than San Juan Island and those looking for calm will be happy. Don't miss its beautiful views and art galleries. You will spend one night on the spot to enjoy it.
Day 18: Return to Seattle
