Steps: Cape Reinga

Let's head for Northland, a wonderful region in many ways, where Polynesian culture is prevalent and accepted. After a walk in Cape Reinga, a sacred place for Maori, we will head to Waitangi, the place where the eponymous Treaty was signed. It was this agreement, concluded on 6 February 1840 between the Maori and the British Crown, that confirmed the United Kingdom's sovereignty over New Zealand.
