Day on site. Stroll around town, get some info on Fiji, visit the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Hindu temple. We can rent a car for the rest of the trip. Rest at the hotel to recuperate from jet lag and overnight stay.

Departure for the Coral Coast
Steps: Sigatoka
Morning departure to discover the Coral Coast. A stop on the way at Natadola beach, one of the most beautiful in Fiji, gives you a gentle start to your holiday. In the afternoon, we head for the town of Sigatoka, for a tour of the market and pottery village 10 minutes away, then a stop at the hotel for the night.

Visit Sigatoka Valley, "the bowl of salad

On the warpath early in the morning, the program included exploring the Sigatoka Valley, either on our own or on an organized excursion: Tavuni Hill Fort, Sigatoka Sand Dunes, Kula Eco Park, for a very rich and complete day.

Plan a day's rafting trip along the Navua River - all Coral Coast establishments have a very good rafting agency. A great option for seeing the hinterland and enjoying breathtaking scenery!

Exploration of the underwater world and bush excursion

For divers, there are many options from Savusavu, or take a stroll along the Lesiaceva Road to the Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort. In the afternoon, take a trip to the impressive . After a 25-minute walk, it's a real pleasure to take a dip.
Taveuni Island

Departure for Buca Bay to take the ferry to . A two-hour drive through lush vegetation, villages and schools. The journey is a little bumpy, but allows you to see Fiji in all its authenticity, far from the resorts. Settle in Taveuni after the ferry crossing. Afternoon at leisure, visit the small, very local Pearl Farm, and if it's a Sunday, be sure to attend mass at the impressive church With or without faith, you'll be moved by the beauty of the singing! Not to be missed.

Hiking in the rainforest
Steps: Lavena
Day hike in Bouma or Lavena National Park. Allow three and a half hours round-trip to explore the rainforest, and don't forget to take a dip in each waterfall.
A morning of birdsong
Taveuni, nicknamed the Garden Island, is very well preserved in terms of flora and fauna. Of Fiji's 26 endemic bird species, Taveuni is home to 20. Several tours offer birdwatching. You'll need to get up very early to hear the morning song of the parrot and local doves.
Visit to a local school

Children, less accustomed to tourists than in Viti Levu, will be delighted by your visit. Don't forget to bring notebooks or pens. In the afternoon, visit Taveuni's natural waterslide, the famous Waitavala Waterslide. A sort of natural water park in the middle of the bush!
