How to get there
The centre of Oslo

Walking tour in the centre from the Opera House, from the top of which a first panoramic view of the city is possible. Continuation of the walk on Karl Johans gate. Visit of the Parliamentcathédrale, then direction the Royal Palace. The most curious will go to the National Gallery before taking the tram to Majorstua, to shop on Bogstadveien, the rue du luxe, and discover Vigeland Park. Tea or coffee break in Kulturhuset, one of the nicest places in the capital. Then we go down to Aker Brygge (visit the Nobel Peace Center), the City Hall. Lunch on the banks of the Fjord and continuation of the visit with the Akersus fortress and its museum of the Resistance. We will then return to Aker Brygge to continue on to Tjuvholmen to discover this new chic and upscale district of the capital. Visit the beautiful Astrup Fearnley Museum. An outing to the Stratos provides a splendid view of the city. Dinner on the terrace in one of the good restaurants in the area.

The new districts of the city

To the east are Grönland and Grunerlokka, formerly working-class districts. Let's start with a morning walk in the botanical gardens musée d'Histoire naturellebefore paying tribute to Edvard at the Munch Museum. We go down via Grønland to start a walk along the Ankerselva River. Its landscaped banks will take you to Grünerlokka. The streets of Thorval and Markveien are filled with the small cafés and trendy restaurants that have made the neighbourhood famous. From there, you can visit the brand new Pop Senteret, an interactive museum on Norwegian pop culture and its influence in the world. If it's Sunday, go to the Bla market, a large market of local and artisanal creations with jazz concerts in Grunerlokka. After this busy day, what better way to spend the evening than in the Mathalen food hall? It is a large covered market with food stalls from all over the world! The most gourmands will be able to choose the option restaurants, beautiful addresses around Mathalen.
