You will see swamps and plains, herds of elephants and a crater full of animals. Then it's time to relax on the white sandy beach in Zanzibar.

Arrival in Kilimanjaro and road to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge where you can relax and prepare for your trip.

Drive to Tarangire National Park
Steps: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Burunge Tented where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Afternoon game drive in the national park.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast we drive to Tarangire National Park famous for its tree-climbing pythons, huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. This national park may be small but it is still home to a large population of wildlife rivaled only by Ngorongoro.

Drive to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, we head to the Serengeti with a packed lunch.
The Serengeti is the oldest and most popular, famous for its annual wildebeest migration. Zebra and Thomson's gazelle join them in search of pasture. Other animals in the Serengeti include buffalo, giraffe, eland, topi, kongoni, impala, grant gazelle, lion, cheetah, leopard and jackal.

Full day in the Serengeti
Steps: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will spend the day observing the migration in the Serengeti National Park, with a packed lunch.
The Serengeti is considered the best wildlife reserve in Africa because of its density of predators and prey, and the huge wildebeest migration.

Ngorongoro Crater
Steps: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for an early morning game drive. The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is the crater, a large unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera.
The crater was formed when the giant volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself 2 to 3 million years ago. It is 610 meters deep and its neck covers 260 km2. Estimates of the height of the volcano range from 4500 to 5800 meters high. The crater is famous for the 5 big animals that can be seen there (the big five): lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffalos. You will also see zebras, gazelles, impalas, wildebeest, hippos, and various species of birds.

Ngorongoro - Arusha airport
Breakfast and drive with your packed lunch to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Stone town: Tembo House Hotel

Excursion to Stone Town and drive to Jambiani

After breakfast, the program begins with a morning walking tour of the historic old town. You will visit the House of Wonders and the Palace Museum and the Arab Fort among others, to get a fascinating insight into the essence of Zanzibar. You will also see the city's bustling market, winding streets, famous carved and studded gates, two cathedrals and numerous mosques. Later, transfer to Jambiani.

Relaxation on the beach and overnight at Mwezi Boutique Resort.

The beautiful coastline with its palm-fringed beaches is like a forgotten paradise. Most of them are protected by coral reefs and consist of white coral sand. You can relax here on the shores of the Indian Ocean. In the morning you can watch the local fishermen bringing in their catch of the day.
You can either stay and enjoy the beach or snorkel in the crystal clear water. Bicycles are available for rent and several excursions can be organized by the hotel, such as scuba diving, boat and fishing trips, or the spice route. You can also visit the nearby turtle sanctuary where injured turtles and other marine animals are cared for until they recover to return to the wild.
