we drive via Gulu to Ziwa Sanctuary for the rhino walk. This sanctuary has a single priority: the reintroduction and protection of rhinos. Accompanied by professionaland experienced trackers, you will travel through the plains and savannahs in search ofthe rhinos.Your guides will introduce you tothe safety rules that must be respected, and will help you find the animals in their natural environment. all this will be done on foot, to preserve the tranquility of the ecosystem and not to scare the rhinos that you will approach.We cross huge cattle breeding areas where the long-horned cattle drink from the rare water holes.Wethenarriveat Murchison National Park.Stop above the Nile Falls, a narrow passage through which the river rushes to fall 40 meters below into the Rift Valley

SAFARI IN THE MURCHISON PARK AND BOAT TOUR ON THE NILE

MURCHISON FALLS

The meandering Nile and its impressive waterfalls, the grassy plains and shrubby hills, the primary forestsand swamps of the delta, the lake shore and the borassus savannahs, make this park, with its wild beauty, aprivilegedplacefor an increasingly important wildlife. The most striking site is undoubtedly theKabalegaFalls- named after a Munyoro chief who fiercely resisted European explorers andSudaneseslaversinsearch of the source of the White Nile. At the exit of the beautiful primary forest of Budongo, the rivermakes its way through a narrow gorge and rolls its tumultuous waters in a 50 m deep precipice. in the afternoon, take aboat rideon the Nile to the foot of the falls. You will also see herds of hippos, crocodilesand after only a few kilometers you will also see elephants, buffaloes, cobs... water animals and avariety of birds (eagles, cormorants, the rare storks) coming to quench their thirst at the lake.

CHIMPANZES

Early in the morning, walk in the company of a guide and trackers, in the tropical forest of Kibale, bordered by swamps

and grasslands for the chimpanzee trek. It is home to a wide variety of primates

(over 12 species recorded) including chimpanzees and colobus. There are also more than 325 species

of birds. It is one of the best places to approach these primates.

ELEPHANTS

In the morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park. This magnificent national park, in the middle of the rift, encompasses lakes Edwardand George, connected by the natural channel of Kazinga. Extinct volcanoes, crater lakes, swamps and grassy plainsconstitute the different biotopes of the reserve. There are more than 500 species of birds,many ofwhich we will discoverwhile descending the outlet where buffaloes and elephants come to quench their thirst.

QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK SAFARI

On the hills overgrown with candelabra, Ugandan cobs, smooth cobs and hylochers are numerous. We continueour exploration in the morning and in the afternoon, we take a boat trip on the Kazinga canal.

The first light of the dawn tears the fog hanging on the summits of the mountains with slopes invaded byby a luxuriant vegetation. In the Bwindi National Park, with the help of a guide and trackers, departure in search ofmountain gorillas. Vegetarians, loving the humid forests, the families of 8 to 20 individuals include a dominant male, adult femalesadult females and several adolescents. The silverback male can reach a weight of 250 kg and a height ofa height of 1,70 m. Debonair and peaceful, the anthropoids observe the group while feeding in theirvegetal universe. Drive to Lake Bunyonyi with a magnificent view of the islands. Thelandscape offers us an incredible palette of greens, from the bluish green of the eucalyptus trees that separate the innumerableplots of land, to the dark green of the cypress trees that line the tracks, to the soft green of the rice fields at the bottom of the steep valleys.further on, the rounded hills with short grass are crossed by the remarkable herds of the Banyaankole pastoralists,the deep valleys are the seat of bushy plantations where banana and coffee trees are mixed.Safari in the park populated by zebras, buffalos, impalas, Cape elands....
