Day 1: Route from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

distance: 101 km
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 7:00 am and transferred to Tarangire National Park to begin your game-viewing experience in this magnificent park, which is famous for its large collection of baobabs, spectacular population of large mammals and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country. After your visit to the park, you'll be transferred to the campsite where you'll spend the night.

Day 2: Drive from Karatu to the Ngorongoro Crater and back to Arusha
Steps: Ngorongoro Crater
You'll leave camp around 06:00 and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your final safari. The crater is not only the world's largest unbroken caldera, it's also one of Africa's 7 new natural wonders. After your morning safari, you'll pause to enjoy your packed lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site. After lunch, you'll be transferred to Moshi/Airport in the afternoon, passing curiosity stores where you can buy a few souvenirs to take home.
