JOUR 1 : ARRIVÉE A BOGOTA
Bogotá is perched at an altitude of 2,600 m in the heart of the Andes mountain range. With a population of 9,000,000, it is the country's political, economic and cultural capital. It's a cosmopolitan city with a vibrant cultural life. It's also one of the country's gastronomic hotspots. The Candelaria district is a haven of peace, an island in the center of the capital with narrow, strolling streets and nonchalant colonial buildings.

DAY 2: Visit to BOGOTA
Discover the capital with your tour guide. A day's walk through Bogotá's historic center. A lively cultural district, home to many artists. Visit the fabulous Gold Museum, the Botero Foundation and Simon Bolivar Square. Take the cable car up to Mont Serrate, for a breathtaking view of Bogotá.

Day 4: in the heart of AMAZONIA

During your stay in the Gamboa reserve, you'll have a local guide at your disposal all day long. You'll discover the Amazon jungle through a wide range of activities (kayak tour on the lake, wildlife observation, jungle hiking, visit to an Indian village, piranha angling...). In the evening, you'll spend the night in a floating cabin on Lake Piraña in the heart of the Gamboa nature reserve, hosted by a local family.

During your stay in the Gamboa reserve, you'll have a local guide at your disposal all day long. In the morning, accompanied by your local guide, you'll visit the village of Leticia and cross the border to visit the village of Tabatinga in Brazil.

DAY 8: PACIFIC COAST

The eco-hostel de juan de Dios is part of a project to protect the environment and conserve flora and fauna. Located in the heart of the Bahia de Malaga natural park near Buenaventura, it's a small natural paradise where the tropical jungle flows into the Pacific Ocean. There's no electricity or running water, so you'll be able to commune with the wilderness of this Pacific region. You'll discover a small fishing village, hike through the lush nature of the Pacific coast, discover the Sierpe waterfall and Malaga Bay on a boat trip and watch the whales (in season).

DAY 9: RETURN TO CALI, capital of salsa

Transfer by community boat from Juan de Dios beach to Buenaventura port, then private transfer to Cali.

DAY 10: SALENTO AND THE COCORA VALLEY

Salento is a magnificent village with an architectural style typical of the coffee triangle. Here you'll discover a warm and proud people and the history of coffee growing. Excursions to the Cocora Valley depart from Salento.

Inhabited by the Tayrona Indians, an ethnic group native to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, it is the link between the Cordillera and the Caribbean Sea. Its wildly beautiful white-sand beaches invite you to relax. The many footpaths that criss-cross the park enable you to discover an incredibly rich flora and fauna.
