Day 1: JOUR 1 : ARRIVÉE A BOGOTA

Bogotá is perched at an altitude of 2,600 m in the heart of the Andes mountain range. With a population of 9,000,000, it is the country's political, economic and cultural capital. It's a cosmopolitan city with a vibrant cultural life. It's also one of the hotspots of Latin American gastronomy, where you can sample cuisine that reflects Colombian traditions. The Candelaria district: A haven of peace. An island in the center of the capital, with narrow streets and nonchalant colonial buildings.

Day 2: JOUR 2 : VISITE DE BOGOTA

Discover the capital in complete freedom. A day's walk through Bogotá's historic center. A lively, cultural district, home to many artists. Visit the fabulous Gold Museum, the Botero Foundation and Simon Bolivar Square. Take the cable car up to Mount Serrate for a breathtaking view of Bogotá.

Day 3: DAY 3: SALENTO AND THE COCORA VALLEY

Steps: Salento

Salento is a beautiful village with an architectural style typical of the coffee triangle. Here you'll discover a friendly people and the history of coffee growing. Excursions to the Cocora Valley depart from Salento.

In the afternoon, you'll visit the colorful village of Salento and the viewpoint from which you'll have a breathtaking view of the entire valley.

Day 4: Jour 4 : VALLÉE DU COCORA ET RESERVE ACAIME

Steps: Valle Del Cocora

The Cocora Valley is a magnificent valley in the heart of the Zona Cafetera. It is home to a tree that is endemic to this valley and a symbol of Colombia: La Palma de Cerra, a very tall, century-old palm tree. Discover this superb valley on a hike that takes you to the Acaime reserve, where you can observe hummingbirds and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Day 5: Day 5: Discovery of the coffee-growing area with a producer's family

Steps: Manizales

You'll spend two days immersed in the daily life of a coffee-growing family living on a traditional farm. Duwi and his family will welcome you into their home as friends and introduce you to their region and culture. You'll discover the art of growing coffee, visit a traditional market, the Manizales coffee cooperative and the small village of La Cuchilla del Salado.

Day 6: Day 6: discovery of the coffee-growing area with a producer's family

Steps: Manizales

. You'll hike through the sumptuous, rolling landscapes of the coffee zone, play Tejo (a local game of pétanque) with your hosts, learn to cook Tamal, a typical local dish, in a cooking workshop, and spend some quality time with Duwi and his family.

Day 7: Day 7: CARTAGENA, the pearl of the Caribbean

Duwi will take you by car to Pereira airport and fly you to Cartagena (1h30)

Cartagena de Indias is a fantastic city that captivates travelers with its colonial and piratical history. The many churches that stand within the old city remind us of the grandeur of its past history. As night falls, Cartagena takes on a romantic ambience and the sea breeze carries you through its streets.

Day 8: Day 8: Rosario Islands

You'll spend two days relaxing on a small island paradise in the Caribbean Sea, inside the Rosario Islands Natural Park. You'll stay in a small, charming hotel with 5 bungalows facing the sea. A magical place to relax and recharge your batteries.

Tayrona Park is a magical place, steeped in history and legend, with incredible biodiversity. Located 34km from the city of Santa Marta, it is one of Colombia's most important natural parks. Inhabited by the Tayrona Indians, an ethnic group native to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, it is the link between the Cordillera and the Caribbean Sea. Its wildly beautiful white-sand beaches invite you to relax. The many footpaths that criss-cross the park enable you to discover an incredibly rich flora and fauna.

Day 13: Day 13: Visit to a traditional cocoa farm and kayak down the Rio Don Diego

Steps: Parque Nacional Tayrona

In the morning, you'll visit a traditional Cacao farm nestled in the heart of La Sierra, Nevada de Santa Marta. After a beautiful hike through the steep paths of La sierra Nevada, you'll visit a family cocoa farm. You'll discover the secrets of cocoa cultivation and meet new people, Nevada de Santa Marta.

In the afternoon, you'll kayak down the calm waters of the Rio don Diego to observe the many species of birds that live along its banks. At the end of the trip, you'll discover a sublime, unspoilt beach of wild beauty.

Day 14: Day 14: LA GUAJIRA hosted by a Wayuu family

Steps: La Guajira

Guajira is a wild, desert land at the northernmost tip of Latin America. You'll discover the culture of the Wayuu Indians and magnificent beaches where sand dunes tumble into the Caribbean.

Early morning departure for Guajira in a 4*4.

Visit the Manaure salt marshes, Uribia, the indigenous capital of Guajira, and the exceptional desert landscapes. Afternoon arrival at La Boquita beach and relaxation.

At sunset, you'll take a small fishing boat to your accommodation with Emilio's family, a Wayuu Indian family.

Evening meal and overnight with the locals.


Day 15: Day 15: LA GUAJIRA hosted by a Wayuu family

Steps: La Guajira

After breakfast, you'll set off for the largest sand dune in Latin America and spend the morning on a deserted Caribbean beach.

Visit the lookout point and lighthouse at Punta Gallina, the most northerly point in Latin America.

Day 16: Day 16: LA GUAJIRA hosted by a Wayuu family

Steps: La Guajira

In the morning, you'll take a fishing boat tour through the mangroves and magnificent desert landscapes.

Return by 4*4 through the desert to Ríohacha airport and flight to Bogotá (1h30 flight)
