Day 1: Arrival and transfer - Lake Mburo National Park

Steps: Lake Mburo National Park

On arrival in Uganda, you'll be met and picked up by our driver/guide at Entebbe International Airport, given a brief safari briefing and immediately boarded for your road transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. You'll have lunch en route and pass through the Ugandan Equator to see where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres.

On arrival at the park, you'll settle into your lodge and spend the rest of the day relaxing. If you arrive early, you'll go on an afternoon game drive to observe various mammal species such as impala, zebra, giraffe, buffalo and many more.

Day 2: Morning walking safari and afternoon boat trip

Steps: Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, you'll take a walking safari in the park to observe the various species of mammals and birds you may have missed on the evening excursion. Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for the boat cruise, one of the park's most memorable experiences. Over 300 hippos live in the lake. You'll have the pleasure of observing various water birds and their sweet sounds, as well as animals such as hippos, crocodiles, water pigs, buffalo, etc.

Day 3: Optional cycling safari and transfer, en route Equator Experience in Uganda

Steps: Lake Mburo National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll depart for the optional morning experience outside the park, in the communities, on a bicycle and, after this experience, you'll begin your journey to the airport. En route, you'll stop at the Equator for a photo, snacks and souvenirs.

You will then continue your journey to Entebbe airport for your return flight.
