Transfer to the Okavango Delta

On arrival at Maun airport, you will be met by our representative and taken to your light aircraft for a 30-minute flight to the famous Moremi Game Reserve. Your professional guide will be waiting at the airfield to take you to the Wild Ridge tented camp.

Accommodation:

Mini Meru tents with outdoor showers and rustic toilets.

Evening:

Enjoy your first meal around the campfire, prepared by the camp chef, as you immerse yourself in the wilderness atmosphere.

Cruising through the tranquil canals by motorboat will offer many opportunities to observe birds and aquatic animals, including hippos, crocodiles and many species of birds such as kingfishers, herons and raptors.


The lagoon is a crucial habitat for a multitude of bird species, including the Sitatunga water antelope and various species of heron, as well as migratory birds, making this an ideal spot for birdwatching.

Your days will be spent exploring the lagoon's waterways, observing wildlife while enjoying the tranquility of the water.

In the evening, watch the sun set, surrounded by wildlife, an unforgettable experience.

Gather around the campfire for stories, stargazing and cooking sessions with your camp chef. A special farewell dinner celebrating local Botswana cuisine will mark the end of this unforgettable experience.
