Stellarium is a reference software used by many amateurs. Its interface is in French and its realistic graphics. Simple manipulation, it allows to display millions of objects (simple stars, variables, doubles, clusters, nebulae, galaxies, planets, Moon, comets), regardless of the period and place of observation. It also allows to adjust the settings of its display according to its needs: plots and limits of constellations, apparent size of the lunar disk, the intensity of the Milky Way, the landscape surrounding the landscape, light pollution, etc. This software is so well made that it is difficult to prepare its astronomical trips and stays, both in France and abroad!
