The Plus Digne la Vie collective was created on December 10, 2008. He counted in his honorary committee the Nobel Prize winner Elie Wiesel, a writer, who died in 2016. The presence of Marie de Hennezel, psychologist, Marina Carrère d'Encausse, doctor, and Axel Kahn, geneticist, among others, is noted. Chaired by Professor Emmanuel Hirsch, philosopher and director of the AP/HP Ethical Space, it brings together many health professionals, institutional and associative decision-makers, and volunteers concerned with the issue of euthanasia in order to reflect and provide solutions that reflect the 2005 Leonetti law and encourage ethical reflection on the right to "a life worth living".
Very informative, the website offers many documentary resources, testimonials, a newsletter, etc. It is possible to download a booklet to learn more about the law, but also to ensure that it is applied in the field. In addition, the collective has drawn up a list of 21 proposals "for a dignified end of life", which can also be downloaded. 21 proposals to defend and promote the founding principles of our democracy and to contribute to the debates.
