Night transport
Taxis are very numerous and constitute a very practical and cheap means of transport. The fare is €1.50 and the average journey in the city costs about €3. There are taxi companies as well as independents. Taxi companies are equipped with meters. The independents do not. To indicate your destination, it is often useless to indicate the name of the street. Here, you can find your way by monuments, hotels, restaurants.

Smokers
Since 2013, the country has signed a law on tobacco control to reduce its consumption. In particular, Kosovo has adopted strong measures such as a complete ban on smoking in all indoor public places, workplaces, transportation, as well as in some outdoor public places.
On the other hand, avoid the "specialty" of this part of the Balkans: cannabis. It is easy to obtain, but its consumption is strictly forbidden (a fine of 250 € and up to one year in prison). Kosovo is indeed a hub for cannabis coming from Albania, the first producer country in Europe.
