To mark the end of the Khao Phansa, the population goes to the temples to make offerings to the bonzes.

Also known as Boun Ork Phansaa, this celebration marks the end of Khao Phansa, the Buddhist Lent that began three months earlier. People flock to the many temples to offer offerings, gifts and robes to the monks. Throughout the country, temples and families alike build bamboo boats decorated with candles, lights and offerings. In Isaan, the spectacle is particularly striking on the Mun River in Ubon Ratchathani and in Nakhon Phanom province.
