In Iceland, we also celebrate Easter! Here, the eggs are made with typical Icelandic chocolate, something to be delighted with.
The tradition of Easter eggs is also invading Iceland. The latter, of different sizes (but generally very large), have the particularity of being made according to a typically Icelandic chocolate recipe. The largest usually contain a small parchment on which is written a proverb. Like a "fortune cookie", but greedier in the end! Easter Monday is a public holiday, so many Icelanders take the opportunity to go to the country, or to organize a family treasure hunt
