JAPANESE GARDEN
A 7,000 m² Japanese garden with a mountain, waterfall and other features, created in 1994 and accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Garden labelled EVE by ECOCERT. Right next to the Grimaldi Forum, by the sea, designed by landscape architect Yasuo Beppu and created in 1994 at the request of Prince Rainier III in accordance with the principle of the concept of Zen thought, this sublime 7,000 m2 green space is a stylized copy of the great Japanese nature with its mountain, hill and waterfall... It is a symbolic universe and connoisseurs will enjoy interpreting each sign. The laymen will spend a very pleasant moment in this soothing universe from which emerges an undeniable serenity. Its creator comes every year especially from Japan to transmit his knowledge and advise gardeners on plant care. The most important thing: the garden is largely accessible to people with reduced mobility.
