A road leads to the lake and this very good restaurant, but it is through the mountains and forests that we recommend you to reach the place. This walk crosses a fir wood. Then, the road descends to a truly magical landscape, in a small valley where the emerald blue waters of the lake reflect the dark green of the fir trees. From Cortina, take the "Freccia nel Cielo" cable car (at the Olympic Ice Stadium). At the first stop of the cable car, Col Drusciè will offer you a splendid view and the opportunity to drink a good cappuccino at the Rifugio, at an altitude of 1780 metres, before embarking on this beautiful walk. From here, take trail 410 until Lake Ghedina is indicated on your right. It is a dream setting that awaits you then, and deliciously prepared dishes. The lamb and artichoke petals in olive oil offered us the long-awaited reward!
To get back on track, take path 416 towards the historic centre of Cadin di Sopra, cross the city and ask for the footpath that joins the centre of Cortina.
