Located just a few steps from the Grand Place and the Old Lille, the Ibis Hotel is ideally placed to explore the capital of Flanders and its secrets. The hotel has a private parking lot, which is only 3 minutes away, with a private car park that is only minutes away, with the comfort and quality of the Ibis hotels. Even though the rooms are not very large, there is very easy movement and, above all, we can find all the essential services: Wifi, flat screen TV, desk and especially selected bedding. Surmatelas bring a very pleasant sensation. The bathrooms are simple but functional and modern. The Ibis Hotel also makes a beautiful share of fresh and local products in its breakfast "as in the market" and the intolerant will be delighted to learn that they can order gluten-free products! Simplicity and efficiency for this perfectly located hotel.

But for €60 per night for two, it is more than correct, this hotel is located in the heart of the Old Lille. It is the reason that decided to me to go back after a first passage a few years ago.
To summarise:
- a clean,
- where you can turn around the bed (we were on the top floor, under the roofs, in a attic room, so beware of the head despite...)
- quiet
- overlooking the cobbled streets
- a very clean bathroom (the hotel had to be renovated it does not have a very long) but the ventilation system is a little too noisy
- a very pleasant, simple and helpful reception
I did not try breakfast, but there is a choice of tea rooms less 200m from the hotel, enjoy it!
The Ibis Opera is an excellent value, which would undoubtedly deserve 4 star.
