LA CAVE DE VALENÇAY
Cave de Valençay is a wine cooperative located in the small village of Valençay, in the Loire Valley. Since 1964, it has brought together the region's winegrowers, who produce sweet, fruity red, white and rosé wines. The winery's vineyards are located at the crossroads of Touraine, Berry and Sologne, offering a terroir rich in viticultural history. The winery produces mainly AOC Val de Loire wines, an appellation recognized in 2004. Among the most popular wines are those of Domaine de Patagon and Domaine de Sébastien Vaillant. The winery also offers Cuvée Plénitude, made from aged vines, and Cuvée Terroir, which uses different Loire Valley grape varieties.
