Matthieu and Renaud Mabillot come from a family that has been farming for three generations. Returning to their family home in the early 2010s, they matured their project and took the plunge.
Today, they produce white, rosé and red Reuilly AOC on a 200-hectare estate founded in the 1990s by their father. In addition, a distillery was built in 2018 to offer a range of 5 whisky vintages.

Domaine et Distillerie Mabillot is located in Sainte-Lizaigne. Run by brothers Matthieu and Renaud Mabillot, third-generation farmers and second-generation winemakers, it offers quality wines under the Reuilly AOC appellation. You're sure to be impressed by the finesse of their Sauvignon-based white wines. You can also indulge in its pinot noir-based reds, such as the Reuilly red "Mont Cocu". The house also produces an intense, fresh rosé that's the perfect accompaniment to an aperitif or Asian cuisine. Since 2018, the family estate has diversified its production by welcoming the Mabillot distillery. The latter offers 100% French whiskies with a unique, high-quality taste. What's more, the distillery's products are distinguished by being made entirely on site, from barley sowing to bottling. Cuvée Arty, aged in American oak barrels, and Cuvée Bellevue Tourbé are two of the distillery's must-haves. Le Reuilly "Mont Cocu
A nose of white flowers with candied fruit aromas. Needs a little aeration before tasting, to reveal the full aromatic potential of this parcel-based cuvée, with its deep golden color due to long ageing. On the palate, a fine attack and well-balanced acidity, with a fat finish and pleasant length .
Reuilly rouge
The nose is marked by aromas of red fruits and spices. Blackberry, raspberry and blackcurrant are very present. The tannic structure remains supple, fine and light, as the magnificent ruby color of this wine suggests.
Reuilly rosé
A very present nose offers aromas of white flowers, vine peach and strawberry, accompanied by a beautiful pale orange color. The palate is long and intense, with a fresh, acidic finish. A perfect accompaniment to aperitifs, white meats, fruit-based desserts and Asian cuisine. All in all, an easy-to-drink wine that will appeal to a wide range of palates.
Cuvée Artry
Maturation: American oak casks. Color: pronounced mahogany. Nose: an intense nose of vanilla, gingerbread and honey, with sweet accents. Palate: round and intense, with candied fruit and vanilla notes on a spicy finish .cuvée Artry is a French whisky aged in American oak casks, using barley grown, brewed and distilled at the Mabillot distillery farm Artry" refers to one of our plots where the barley used to make our whiskies was grown and harvested.
Cuvée Bellevue peaty
Maturation: new American oak barrels. Appearance: a very pronounced mahogany color .Nose: a nose with light peat notes, combined with fine, pleasant hints of smoke and iodine. Palate: round and long, the presence of peat is fine, persistent and not exuberant .matured in new American oak casks, Bellevue Tourbé is made from 90% Mabillot farm barley, with peated malted barley making up the remaining 10% Bellevue" refers to one of our plots where the barley used to make our whiskies was grown and harvested.
Cuvée Mérolles
Maturation: ex-bourbon casks. Appearance: pale gold in color. Nose: lightly smoky, with hints of honey, cereals and toast. Palate: elegant and long. Cuvée Mérolles is a French whisky matured in old bourbon casks (4 to 5 years old), and produced with 100% barley from the Mabillot distillery farm Mérolles" refers to one of our parcels where the barley used to make our whiskies was grown and harvested.
